The Sharjah Emirate of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) witnessed power outage on Friday.
Reportedly, several areas of Sharjah including Al Majaz, Al Tawun, Al Nahda, and Al Wada Street went without electricity for several minutes.
“There is no power in our area for 15 minutes,” a resident in Al Majaz N. Malik told Khaleej Times.
“Initially I thought it was a technical problem at my flat but when I checked with watchman, I found there was no electricity in our entire area,” N. Malik said.
While a resident of Al Wada Street Zameer Awan told “When I reached home after work, I was surprised to see no power in my building. Then I checked with the shopkeepers and they told me that there was no power in our area.”
