Dubai ranked world’s top hub for greenfield FDI for 3rd consecutive year

DUBAI, UAE: Dubai has been ranked the world’s top hub for greenfield FDI for the third consecutive year, accounting for 6% of the global total in 2023, according to the Financial Times Ltd’s ‘fDi Markets’ data.

Dubai attracted 1,650 FDI projects worth more than AED39.2 billion in the past year, contributing to the creation of 45,000 jobs.

In a statement on X, Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum said that “We are committed to achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to double the size of the emirate’s economy and establish it as one of the world’s top three urban economies.
