Younis Khan not part of Pakistan-West Indies first Test in Dubai

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Batsman Younis Khan was not included in the Pakistan Test squad announced Saturday as the doctor has advised him rest.     

Younis was not fully recovered from Dengue therefore the doctor advised him rest.

The Chief Selector Inzamam ul Haq on Saturday announced the team for the first test against West Indies.

The Team has been finalized by Inzamam and the National Selection Committee after consultations with the Pakistan Team Head Coach and the Test Captain.

Pakistan team will play its first ever Day-Night Test match from October 13 to 17 with the Pink Ball at Dubai Cricket Stadium.

The second test will be played from October 21 to 25 at Abu Dhabi and third test from October 30 to November 3 at Sharjah.

Pakistan squad includes Sami Aslam, Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Baber Azam, Misbah Ul Haq (Captain), Sarfraz Ahmad (Wicket Keeper), Muhammad Nawaz, Yasir Shah, Zulifiqar Baber, Muhammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Sohail Khan, Imran Khan Sr and Rahat Ali.
