The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been ranked among the world’s top 10 most competitive economies, according to the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) World Competitiveness Ranking 2023 report revealed on Tuesday.
In the ranking, Denmark, Ireland and Switzerland have been named the top three among 64 economies.
The UAE has risen two places to secure the 10th place in the world’s most competitive economies.

Meanwhile, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has praised the President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the people of UAE for their effort, sincerity, dedication, and rallying around their leadership to achieve high rankings.
In his Twitter statement, Sheikh Mohammed said that the UAE leads the world in several indicators such as management, energy, infrastructure, the government’s ability to adapt to changes and others.
