The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Fuel Price Committee is set to announce the retail prices of petroleum products including petrol and diesel on Saturday for May 2023.
In the UAE, the petrol and diesel prices are aligned with the global rates; therefore, any increase or decrease in the global prices directly reflects the retail fuel prices in the Middle Eastern Country.
Earlier last month, the fuel prices were reduced in the UAE for April 2023 as the per litre retail prices of Super 98 and Special 95 were slashed to Dh3.01 from Dh3.09 and to Dh2.90 per from Dh2.97 respectively.
Likewise for April 2023, the retail price of E-Plus 91 was fixed at Dh2.82 per litre against the March price of Dh2.90 per liter. The per litre price of diesel was reduced to Dh3.03 as it was Dh3.14 per litre in March 2023.
