DUBAI, UAE: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has warned commuters of traffic and expected delay on a major Dubai road on Sunday.
On its social media, the RTA said that delays are expected on Oud Metha Road and the surrounding internal streets near Al Wasl Club on Sunday from 07.30 pm to 10:00 pm.
The traffic is due to the football match between Al Wasl and Shabab Al Ahli at Al Wasl FC.
The authority advised motorists to use alternative routes and follow the directional signs to ensure a smooth journey.
“RTA informs you of expected delays on Oud Metha Rd. and the surrounding internal streets near Al Wasl Club on Sunday, May 26, 2024, from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. This is due to the Al Wasl vs. Shabab Al-Ahli football match at Al Wasl F.C. To ensure a smooth journey to your destinations, please use alternative routes and follow the directional signs,” said a post by the RTA on X.
