DUBAI, UAE: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has been awarded four recognition certificates by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), acknowledging the authority’s practices in transport planning and regulation, investment, innovation and future foresight, and digital transformation.

Organising Transport Certificate
The RTA received the ‘Organising Transport’ Certificate for its leadership in implementing modern practices and using advanced tools in transport planning on a global scale.
Digital Transformation Pillar Certificate
The RTA received recognition under the ‘Digital Transformation Pillar’ for its Digital Strategy 2030 which includes 24 innovative digital initiatives covering seven areas: digital twins, metaverse, robotics, integrated systems, enterprise solutions, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and the Internet of Things.
Innovation and Future Foresight Pillar Certificate
The RTA received the ‘Innovation and Future Foresight Pillar’ Certificate for its significant role in launching strategies that align with best global innovation practices.
Investment Pillar Certificate
The RTA was awarded the ‘Investment Pillar’ Certificate for its outstanding efforts in executing investment opportunities aimed at increasing commercial revenues and enhancing cooperation and partnerships with the private sector in various fields including technology, operations, and sustainable business practices.
