With the hike in fuel prices in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for September 2023, the Ajman Transport Authority has announced new taxi fares in the Emirate.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the transport authority announced to fix the taxi fare at Dh1.90 per kilometre for September 2013, marking a 6-fil increase from Dh1.84 in August 2023.

Earlier on August 31, the UAE Fuel Price Committee announced the new fuel prices for the entire next month.
As per the announcement, the retail price of Super 98 was raised from Dh3.14 per litre to Dh3.42, Special 95 from Dh3.02 per litre to Dh3.31, E-Plus 91 from Dh2.95 per litre to Dh3.23, and Diesel from Dh2.95 per litre to Dh3.40.
